Welcome to the 2026 Barbour County Fair.

Livestock Exhibitors:
4-H and FFA youth will need to create an entry for the animal(s) and their respective showmanship class. Showmanship age is as on January 1.
Equine Exhibitors:
Only ONE High-Point per exhibitor, You must show in the Required classes to be eligible.
Competitive Exhibitors:
Multiple entries and exhibitors can be registered under the same (household) account.
*One entry per category (example: only one jar of blackberry jam can be entered) With exception of Quilts.
All entries must be checked in between the hours of 1 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 at the main registration desk. On-line pre-registration is recommended. Please visit thebarbourcountyfair.com for complete exhibit list.
New for 2026! Please- ALL Quilt entries MUST BE pre-registered and delivered to Mountain State Quilting by Aug 22, 2026. Why so early? We are expecting another large turnout, and it will give our team the necessary time to have quilts judged, carefully hang them, and to create a warm and colorful exhibition.
All entries and premiums must be picked up between the hours of 1:30-3 p.m. on Sunday, September 6.
*Entries not picked up on this date will be disposed of at the discretion of the Barbour County Fair Association and premium money forfeited.
Judging of most categories will occur on Monday, August 31, at 9 a.m.
Only listings listed on this site and in the Premium Book will be accepted - NO exceptions.
Judge's Choice will receive a ribbon only (no premium money).
