Excitement is building for the Waseca County Fair – Let’s work together to make the fair a success!

• Waseca County Fair Online Information Guide (z.umn.edu/ZLinkPocketGuide)

• (Not mailed in 2026) The 2026 County Fair Premium Book is available online at (z.umn.edu/2026PremiumBook). (If you need a copy mailed to you, please contact the Extension Office at mnext-waseca@umn.edu)

Reminders:

• Project classes are based on the grade completed as of July 2026.

• Each exhibit/animal needs to be entered online using FairEntry or listed on a submitted paper registration form to receive premiums, awards, and/or state show trips.

• Livestock Reminder – Please be sure to enter for livestock interviews, rate of gain contest, and showmanship classes.

• Helpful exhibit suggestions are listed under each project area in the premium book.

• The County Fair Fee Form and appropriate fees must be dropped off/mailed to the Extension Office by June 12.

• Sign up for a shift in the 4-H Food Stand at Food Stand Sign-Up. (z.umn.edu/2026FoodStandSignUp).

• Sign up for one of the many volunteer roles that are necessary to run a smooth and efficient fair at Volunteer Sign-Up (z.umn.edu/2026FairVolunteer)

DEADLINES!

• PREFERRED METHOD - Fair Registrations that are entered online using Fair Entry must be completed by 11:59 pm on Friday, June 12.

• If you are submitting a paper registration form, it must be turned in to the Waseca County Extension Office by 4:30 pm on Friday, June 12. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked by June 12.
